Neil is a native of Culdaff in the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal the most northerly part of the Island of Ireland. He has had a lifetime of experience in the hospitality and entertainment business and is deeply involved in the preservation of the unique heritage sites of his local area.
A musician and sound engineer, he has a wide knowledge of the cultural history of his area and brings this insight to his tours which highlight many of the lesser visited gems along the Wild Atlantic Way.
He has produced and engineered music for a wide range of artists and has also authored a guide to the historical sites of his area, “Inishowen- A Journey Through its Past”. He chairs both Culdaff and Cloncha Heritage Group and Lands of Eoghain, the latter is a local history group which has been involved in staging heritage festivals and assisting with archaeological work on the stunning Early Christian sites of Inishowen.
His wife Roisin is a noted tradition Irish fiddler and has performed worldwide. Along with daughters Deirdre and Ella they perform a carefully chosen selection of Irish music for our groups in a private concert setting.
