The Wild West Irish Pilgrimage

When Saint Patrick first came to Ireland in the 5th century AD, he encountered the Celtic people—with their flourishing spiritual tradition, already thousands of years old. The Celts found divinity all around them: in rivers and hills, the sea and sky, and in every kind of animal.
The Celtic reverence for the spirit in all things, and their celebration of the continuous mysteries of everyday existence survives to this day and on your Pilgrimage, you can celebrate and explore the mysteries and joy of Celtic wisdom and spirituality. With our guides and friends, we will gently explore Celtic Wisdom and Spiritually joyfully through ritual, music, poetry, meditation, yoga, healthy food, creative expression, contemplative walks, hiking, and experiencing the sacred sites of Celtic Ireland.
The Wild West Irish pilgrimage small group tour includes elements of our Wild West Irish Tour and Clare-Connemara tour (includes Counties Sligo, Leitrim, Galway and Clare).

Group size: Maximum of 8 people per tour; however, we welcome family groups and private groups of up to 12-14 people! Please contact us for details.

Thank you for inquiring about our new and very special Wild West Irish Tour experience. This tour is extremely limited for space. Please contact us directly for the full itinerary.

The Wild West Irish Pilgrimage is open to only 7 travelers and is based in two locations in the West of Ireland. We meet our guests at Dublin airport and travel across the heartland of Ireland to the Wild Atlantic Coastline in Sligo, Ireland. Your 4 Star accommodation is in a cozy B&B in the shadow of mighty BenBulben, in the “land of heart’s desire” for four days and nights. You will experience many of the places we bring our Wild West Irish Tours guests. You are introduced to local guides, storytellers, myth keepers, poets, musicians and artists as we explore Celtic spirituality, wisdom and thought, through inspirational walks, creative expression, music, dance, and many other ways.
“Come away o’ human child, to the waters and the wild, with a faery hand in hand, from a world more full of weeping than you can understand.” ~ W.B. Yeats

After your four days in “Yeats’s Country” we make our way south through County Mayo, the hills of Connemara, County Galway, and onto pristine County Clare, where you stay in a gorgeous B&B nestled on the edge of the Burren along the River Fergus. You have another four days of inspirational walks by the ocean, in a forest, through the Burren, and along the riverside with our local “Coisceim Anama” guide. You will walk the steps of the ancient Celts. There are opportunities to visit places we love on our Wild West Irish Tours-Midwest tour as well as visiting local towns, pubs and, if weather permits, a boat ride to a mystical island.
On the 9th day we bring you back to Dublin for your flight, or you may want to visit Dublin for a day or two on your own before your journey home, refreshed and invigorated.
